I love to run to music and I take my running playlist quite seriously. My playlist is the soundtrack to my experience. Now imagine that super slo-mo scene in a movie when two lovers are running towards each other with some emotionally appropriate song blaring in the background. That’s how I imagine myself when I’m running. Weird? Maybe, but that’s me and that’s how I like to run.
One of the beautiful things about sounds and music is that they are easily attached to your memories. Good or bad, each song that goes into my running playlist has a memory. These memories motivate me and keep the legs driving from each step to the next. I feed from the emotions these songs create.
Now everyone is different and I might be making complete nonsense but hey that’s how I like to run and that makes me happy.
Below I have shared one of my running playlists, enjoy :)
